About the Show
Zanda's Symporium of Illusion retains all the flair and panache of the old show, but in a more intimate, immersive form. More Gandalf than Gandey — this is close-up conjuring at its most theatrical.
Old Zanda perches on an antique carved wooden chair beneath the awning of his motorhome, wrapped in a green silk parachute, and performs close-up magic while telling ancient illusionary tales. There will be visual, aural, and sensory illusions — and a few more besides…
The newly painted proscenium arch frames the performance space. The selfie “Rosie behind” fun photo frame returns, joined by two standing illusions from Travelling Light Circus’s Playground of Illusions. A show worth seeing — or maybe feeling, smelling, hearing…
